The Recovery Star

The star fits into the personalisation agenda whilst promoting the philosophy of recovery – aspirations, opportunity and being in control of ones journey.

As a key-working and outcomes measurement tool, its use enables staff to support individuals through their recovery whilst keeping track of their progress as well as providing a structured way for organisations to monitor the effectiveness of its services.

The Ladder of Change stages:

  • Self Reliance

Deepdene Care are in the initial stages of introducing the Recovery Star into our services.  The Recovery Star will begin with a pilot programme at Clifton House, our residential service in Manchester.  The development of a company wide working group who will be trained to use the Recovery Star will then facilitate its roll out into our other national services.
